Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about working with us, using AI safely, and replacing software you pay for.

Working with us

Who is Keyturn Software for?

Small to medium businesses, roughly 5 to 250 employees, that pay for more software subscriptions than they should and want to own their CRM, website, and business applications instead. Our clients are owners and operations leaders rather than technical teams.

Will we be able to change the software ourselves?

Yes. Every project includes training so your team can manage the software day to day, and I teach you how to make changes and improvements with AI: describe the change in plain English, review it, and publish it. Every version is saved, so changes can be undone.

Do we own the software you build?

Yes, completely. The source code is in a repository under your company account, and the domain, hosting, and database are in your name. You can export your data or move to another developer at any time.

Where do you work?

We serve Spanish Fork, UT, Utah County, UT, Utah, United States (remote). Training and consulting can be delivered online, and in person where we are local.

Do you sell or resell software subscriptions?

No. We do not take commissions from software vendors, so when we recommend keeping a subscription or replacing it, the call is based only on what fits your business.

What industries do you work with?

Service businesses of most kinds, including professional services, trades and home services, healthcare practices, retail, and local multi-location businesses. Regulated industries get extra care around data handling.

AI in your business

Will AI replace my employees?

For most small and medium businesses, AI takes over tasks, not jobs. The goal is to free people from data entry, copy-paste, and first drafts so they can spend time on customers and judgment calls.

Which AI tool is best for a small or medium business?

There is no single best one. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot are all strong; the right choice depends on what you already use, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and what tasks matter most. We recommend based on fit, not affiliation.

Can AI make mistakes?

Yes. AI can state wrong information confidently. Every workflow we set up keeps a person reviewing anything that goes to a customer or involves money.
